Lower Rates of Hotels Attract More Tourists -

Tourist always prefer low budget hotels and also prefer best services.

The official was speaking at the opening of the first National Forum on Social Tourism.

According to Eugénio Celemente, in addition to ensuring a major flow in tourists, lower prices also attract more money to economic operators.

“If the prices practiced by the economic operators linked to the hotel sector are accessible, more Angolans will know tourist sites of the country and the realities of the peoples,” said the official.
He recalled that the Government in 2011 approved a set of documents and polices meant for a combination of public and private sectors policies contained in the national tourist steering plan.

According to the director, the holding of the first National Forum on Social Tourism being attended by representatives of various ministries is intended to discuss a strategic plan for the implementation of social tourism.

He stated that the results of the forum will be submitted to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, to outline the guidelines for the Strategic Plan, aiming at the implementation of social tourism in Angola.
In his turn, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the World  Social Tourism Organisation , Jean Marc Mignon, said the practice of social tourism contributes to the development of the societies and economies.
